The compact design of our SpaceSaver line of water heater puts hot water right where you need it in locations from home to office, garage to cottage or wet bar to pool house. Available in a wide range of sizes, our SpaceSaver models are ideal for applications where space is at a premium.

The SpaceSaver line now includes our smallest, plug-in water heater which features a wall-hanging capability. Complete with a temperature and pressure relief valve, the unit plugs into any standard outlet. With its 18.2″H x 11.4″W x 11.4″D size and 10-litre capacity, this compact water heater fits almost anywhere and meets hundreds of low-use needs.

Extensive research and development by GSW engineers has resulted in the creation of an innovative new approach to atmospherically vented gas water heaters, the GSW Direct Vent water heater design. A proven performer with ten years of laboratory testing and field trials including nine winters in the extreme cold, the Direct Vent operates quietly with no need for an electric fan or external power supply. The balanced flue design with a side wall vent termination allows installation in locations without a chimney. The sealed combustion chamber and coaxial vent uses fresh air taken from outside rather then pre-heated air from within the home. Quiet, reliable and efficient operation in a quality design: the GSW Direct Vent water heater.

The stainless steel tank with a submerged combustion chamber allows for quiet operation. Always flexible, power direct venting for our Polaris models is available using 2 or 3” PVC or CPVC pipe.

Power Direct Vent

The Power Direct Vent is designed with a sealed combustion chamber, ultra quiet blower and state-of-the-art Robertshaw® gas control for highly accurate temperature control. The Flamable Vapour Ignition Resistant (FVIR) design prevents flammable vapours from entering and igniting. All combustion air is brought in from outside – rather than heated air from indoors. The Power Direct Vent can be vented with 3″ ABS, PVC or CPVC up to 60′ horizontally through the wall or vertically through the roof.
